York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Web Design Assistant Volunteer: someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves web design.

The Web Design Assistant Volunteer is responsible for:
- Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web pages
- Collaborate with clients and teams
- Understand project requirements and work with designers, content creators, and stakeholders
- Maintain and update websites
- Perform regular site maintenance, bug fixes, and feature enhancements
- Optimize website performance
- Ensure fast loading times, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO best practices
- Test and debug applications
- Identify and resolve issues to ensure smooth functionality
- Implement security measures
- Protect websites from vulnerabilities and data breaches
- Stay current with web technologies
- Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and industry trends
