We are on the hunt for a new addition to our team.

This is a full-time (32-40 hrs/week avg) position.

This position involves ringing through sales, making drinks, shelving books and games, ordering and researching books, and helping out with general tidying and maintenance around the store.

We’re looking for someone:

• Enthusiastic, upbeat, and we think quirky is a plus. This is a retail store where you spend 95% of the time working with the public so you must be comfortable with people.
• Able to work fast and effectively with computers, as a ton of the research and day to day operations are done online and with computers.
• With a passion for physical books. This one is obvious. We don’t require you to have read all the classics but if the last book you read was in high school then perhaps this isn't the position for you.
• Prepared to play and learn and talk about a lot of board games.
• This is a physical store with physical duties. You must be able to; spend most of the day on your feet, lift boxes of books that average 36 pounds, kneel to reach things on low shelves, climb ladders etc.
• The holiday season is kind of nuts so be prepared for more/weird shifts during the crazy time. Being able to go with the flow and fill in if needed is super helpful.
