Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required by supervisor and / or the plant preventative maintenance system.
• Understanding of electrical components.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and motors.
• Identify root cause of equipment failures and follow-up on feasibility of modifications
• Analyze, record and maintain documentation for maintenance records
• Maintain a clean and environmentally safe workshop

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of mechanical experience
• Experience in a manufacturing facility is an asset
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Intermediate computer skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft office and preventative maintenance programs is required.

Pay:  $62,000–$83,000 a year
