Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical & Instrumentation Apprentice to join our team. This position offers hands-on training and exposure to a wide variety of projects including industrial, commercial, and residential installations, generator service, automation systems, and instrumentation work.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist journeyperson electricians and instrumentation technicians with installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Learn and apply safe work practices in compliance with Ontario Electrical Code and company standards.
- Help with installation of wiring, conduit, cable trays, and instrumentation devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical and generator systems.
- Support the setup, calibration, and testing of automation and control systems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized job site.

Qualifications

- Registered apprentice or interest in becoming one (electrical or instrumentation).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Safety-focused with a good understanding of basic electrical principles.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation.
