Compensation & Benefits Information
· Rate of pay ranges from: $36.84 to $51.77, as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement

· Percent in lieu of benefits and vacation percentage paid out bi-weekly, up to 20% as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement
Job Summary
The Medical Radiation (X-ray –CT) Technologist is accountable to the Manager, Medical Imaging. Under the direction of a Radiologist/Cardiologist/Internist, he/she performs the procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with skill, ingenuity, and initiative. Must assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.
Qualifications
· Graduate of an approved course for Medical Radiological technologists.
· Membership in the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (OAMRT).
· Registered with the Ontario College of Medical Radiation Technologists.
· Completion of CT parts 1, 2 and 3 CAMRT courses.
· Clinical Practice in a CT environment.
· Minimum three (3) years of CT experience
· Experience in the development of a CT Scan program
· Required to perform x-ray duties as assigned
· Available to work all shifts (ex: days, evenings, weekends, on-call)
· Bilingualism will be considered an asset
· Other duties as assigned
