Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Northern Sun Mining currently has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join our team. Reporting to the CFO, the Warehouse Technician will be responsible for shipping and receiving as well as storage and retrieval of goods and materials in a safe, accurate and organized manner.
Please note this is not a camp-based position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and manage inventory levels and controls.
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software.
- Receive, verify and unload incoming materials.
- Organize goods for safe and easy access, maintain a clean warehouse space.
- Keep accurate records of goods and materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
- Receive and process warehouse stock orders.
- Complete any required receiving or shipping documentation.
- Packaging of material or goods for storage, shipment, or return.
- Organize delivery of materials & goods requested to departments and contractors.
- Perform various tasks related to warehousing operations including returns processing, inspection of goods and material verifications.
- Operation of various types of equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and tele-handlers.
- Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free.
- Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.
- Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of two (2) years warehousing & logistics experience, preferably in the mining industry.
- Experience operating forklifts, loaders, and tele-handlers as well as a valid Ontario driver’s license.
- Procurement software experience and barcode technology knowledge would be an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching and standing for extended periods.
