Role Summary:  The Truck Washer will be responsible for assisting with truck washing and general cleaning duties at our Hearst location. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and operational readiness of our fleet. The Truck Washer will also be responsible for safely operating and maneuvering trucks in and out of the shop as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Fleet Cleaning Responsibilities:Wash and clean the exterior and interior of trucks and trailers using pressure washers, cleaning solutions, and other tools. Safely move trucks in and out of the shop. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and general work areas. Observe vehicles for visible damage, or cleanliness issues and report any concerns to the supervisor. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures during operations.

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

• Location: Must live in Hearst, Ontario, or nearby areas. In-person position only; no possibility of working from home or hybrid.
• Typical schedule: This is a casual position with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and occasional work on statutory holidays.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.  
• License and Certification: Valid class G2/ G driver’s license required.  
• Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of handling high-pressure hoses and cleaning equipment.
• Experience: Previous experience in truck or vehicle washing is an asset. Physically able to perform manual labour, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Additional abilities: Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
