The Cochrane District Services Board is now accepting applications for the following positions for students who are registered to return to secondary or post-secondary studies in September 2026.
Children’s Services (EarlyON and Program Consultant positions available)
Salary Rate: $18.99 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 4293 CBA
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
Locations:
- Timmins (Program Consultant)
- South Porcupine (EarlyON)
Housing Services (Maintenance)
Salary Rate: $18.99 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 4293 CBA
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
Locations:
- Timmins
- Iroquois Falls
- Cochrane
- Matheson/Ramore
- Kapuskasing
- Smooth Rock Falls/Fauquier/Moonbeam
- Hearst/Mattice
Housing Services (Administration)
Salary Rate: $18.99 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 4293 CBA
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
Location: Iroquois Falls
Paramedic Services (Administration)
Salary Rate: $20.74 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 1484 CBA
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
Location: Timmins
Emergency Vehicle Technician
Salary Rate: $20.74 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 1484 CBA
Hours of Work: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available)

- Kapuskasing
