Shipper and Receiver

• Salary: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

• Shift: 40 Hours/week

Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper and Receiver to join our warehouse team. You will be the primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring our inventory records are accurate and shipments reach our customers on time.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling products.
• Inspect incoming freight for damages or discrepancies against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move and store materials safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our internal management system.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and drop-offs.

Requirements:

• Physical Ability: Must be able to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Documentation: Valid Driver’s Abstract required.
• Reliability: Strong attendance habits and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety: Commitment to workplace safety protocols and wearing required PPE (e.g., steel-toed boots).
• Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills for data entry and generating shipping labels.

Experience (Preferred):

• 1–2 years of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role is an asset.
• Valid Forklift Certification is a strong asset.
