Currently hiring: Part-Time Security Guard (3 Hour Shifts)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premised to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Monitor surveillance systems if available to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services if/when necessary
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or damages
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security or related fields is preferred
- Valid driver’s licence and own method of transportation is mandatory
- Must be bondable (Criminal Record Check)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Individuals must be comfortable working on their own
- Individuals must be comfortable and willing to working outside
- Strong work ethic, observation skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interacting with staff and emergency responders
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to learn and take direction
