What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual with an outgoing personality to join our front of house team as our receptionist/ Office Administrator. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and have a wide range of flexible availability. Previous experience in an administrative roll is ideal. Shifts are varied.

Responsibilities


  • Be the welcoming face of the company, adeptly handling reception duties such as promptly answering phones, warmly greeting guests, and ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs.
  • Efficiently manage a variety of general office tasks including filing, ordering supplies when needed, generating of purchase orders to uphold operational efficiency.
  • individual sales and reservations, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the bookkeeper to assist in basic accounts payable tasks, ensuring financial records are accurately maintained.
  • Take charge of the purchase order system, demonstrating keen organizational abilities to streamline procurement processes.
  • Oversee inventory and upkeep of merchandise and retail sales.
  • Maintain the office space, ensuring of cleanliness and tidiness, fostering a professional and inviting atmosphere for both staff and customers.
  • Provide support to team members by proficiently typing documents and offering basic office assistance as needed.
  • Providing outstanding customer service, greeting customers as they enter, promptly answering any inquiries or concerns they have.
  • Any other reasonable request made by management.

 

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience


  • Education in Office Administration or equivalent is an asset.
  • Prior Office Administration experience considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Can-do/positive attitude.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience within a customer service environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
