Project Manager

Joelle's Technical Resources & Custom Works Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and oversee industrial and mining-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to our clients’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from award through completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work scopes.
  • Monitor project costs, labour hours, materials, and purchasing
  • Coordinate with clients, supervisors, tradespeople, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, estimates, and change orders.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients.
  • Identify project risks, delays, cost overruns, and other concerns and develop appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensure required materials, equipment, manpower, and documentation are available for projects.
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Safety, and other departments.
  • Ensure projects comply with company policies, client requirements, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with project invoicing, cost tracking, forecasting, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation within company systems.
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and post-project reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in project management, preferably within the mining, industrial, construction, mechanical, millwright, welding, or fabrication sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, procurement, and resource planning.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Acumatica ERP is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with project management and estimating is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and management.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project or mine sites when required.
