Location: Villa Minto LTC, Cochrane ON

Contract: Temporary Full-Time

The LTC Education & Placement Lead is responsible for planning, delivering, and maintaining training and placement programs to support the long-term care team. This position develops and implements educational strategies, coordinates student placements, and ensures compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, Ontario Regulations, and Ministry requirements.

Qualifications

• Regulated Health Professional in good standing with the appropriate college
• Graduate degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field (equivalent education may be considered), or equivalent education
• Strong knowledge of adult education principles and emerging teaching/learning tools
• Proven leadership, coaching, and organizational abilities
• Experience in project planning, change management, budgeting, and proposal development
• Knowledge of LTC legislation, Ontario regulations, and quality improvement practices
• Advanced oral French an asset
• Demonstrated expertise in gerontology and comprehensive understanding of LTC operations preferred
• French oral proficiency at an advanced or superior level is an asset
• Proven achievement in gerontology and broad knowledge of LTC operations strongly recommended
• Valid G driver’s license
• Clear Criminal Record Check
