Englehart and Area Child Care Centre is Now Hiring a Child Care Assistant
Permanent Part Time Split Shift

Qualifications
● High School Diploma
● Current CPR/First Aid certificate
● Current and cleared vulnerable sector check within 6 months.
● Able to work between the hours of 7:00-9:00AM & 3:00-5:30PM Monday to Friday and occasionally evenings and weekends for training and staff meetings.
● Able to work a 7.5 hour shift on PD Days and school holidays, between the hours of 7:00AM-5:30PM
● 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities
● Assisting the Registered Early Childhood Educator in coordinating and the
implementation of your assigned program, including planning, preparing and facilitating all activities.
● Providing a creative, stimulating and safe environment for children.
● Maintaining child/adult ratios.
● Assist with supervising any volunteers or placement students.
● Assist the supervisor with any responsibilities related to the centre as requested by the supervisor.

Position Type:  Permanent Assistant Part Time Split Shift
Start Date:  ASAP or April 13, 2026.
Starting Wage:  $19.60/hr 27.5/hrs a week during school, and full time 37.5/hrs a week in the summer and possible other school holidays.
