Englehart and Area Child Care Centre Now Hiring Child Care Assistant

Temporary Full Time until return of employee

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Current CPR/First Aid certificate
• Current and cleared vulnerable sector check within 6 months.
• Able to work between the hours of 7:00AM and 3:30PM Monday to Friday and
• occasionally evenings and weekends for training and staff meetings.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Registered Early Childhood Educator in coordinating and the
• implementation of your assigned program, including planning, preparing and facilitating
• all activities.
• Providing a creative, stimulating and safe environment for children.
• Maintaining child/adult ratios.
• Assist with supervising any volunteers or placement students.
• Assist the supervisor with any responsibilities related to the centre as requested by the
• supervisor.

Position Type:  Assistant Temporary Full Time until return of employee
Start Date:  Tuesday April 7, 2026
Starting Wage:  $19.60/hr 37.5 hrs. a week
