Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Aquatics Services Manager, the Aquatics Services Coordinator is responsible for instructing swimming lessons, executing lifeguard duties, and conducting aquatic fitness classes. Furthermore, this position entails contributing to the development and innovation of the aquatic services programming, as well as overseeing the management of the summer youth program.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Current National Lifeguard certification
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR certification from an approved agency
- Current Swim Instructor certification
- Certification in aquatic fitness is considered an asset
- Ability to work with the public, external organizations, employees and students
- Ability to assume a high level of responsibility
- Ability to work with various age groups
- Experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and handle high-pressure situations
- Bilingual (French/English) is required
Work Schedule
- 36.25 hours per week
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational and program needs
