Rate of Pay: $32.70-$37.37 / hour

Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of Airport Services, the Airport Attendant is responsible for the upkeep of airport facilities, aircraft fueling, runway maintenance, and administrative duties related to daily operations. This role supports safe and efficient airport operations, maintaining compliance with airport standards and assisting in operational enhancements as needed.
Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma
- Current Standard First Aid Certification is considered an asset
- Valid “G” drivers’ licence
- Bilingual (French/English) is required
- Restricted Operator Certificate – Aeronautical, is considered an asset
- Previous experience in an aviation setting is preferred
- Ability to follow pre-established communication procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interact professionally with airport users and other stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Working Conditions and Hours of Work
- Ability to work under adverse weather conditions
- Exposure to noise and fumes
- Liquid and compressed fuel handling requirements
- Physical abilities include lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing
- 25 hours per week, predominantly day shifts, with a rotating on-call schedule
- Work hours include evenings and weekends, based on operational needs
