operations team:
Underground Construction Miner, Crusher Operator

Alamos Gold’s Young-Davidson is a low-cost, long-life operation and one of Canada’s largest
underground gold mines. It is located near the town of Matachewan centrally located between
Timmins, Kirkland Lake, North Bay and Sudbury, Ontario. The 2020 completion of a highly automated,
lower mine expansion has resulted in Young-Davidson increasing production and generating strong free
cash flow. With a large Mineral Reserve base, it will serve as Alamos’ foundation for growth for many

The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient completion of construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Scaling and doing pre-operation inspection of work site;
• Filling 5 point card and maintain accurate operating records;
• Operate crusher, feeder and dust collector as per company policy;
• Remove steel and other material from the ore as it passes on the feeder;
• Cut and dispose of steel and other refuse in designated bins;
• Assist maintenance while doing repairs or on maintenance days;
• Provide constant feedback to loading pocket operator and rock breaker operator on crushing
status;
• Ensure workplace is tidy and free of refuse and leftover construction material before leaving;

• Any other task as directed by direct supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
• 5 years’ underground experience;
• Accreditation in U/G common core modules and specialty modules;
• Strong Safety focus;
• Self-motivated ability to work alone;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently; and
• Preferred candidate will possess previous experience as a construction miner.
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off – 12 hour shifts
