Job Details: Full-Time

Salary: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour (to be based on relevant experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5:30pm)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Powersports Technician to join our team. The successful applicant would be working on small engines, marine and power sport equipment. The Powersports Technician will work on product lines such as Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, Legend Boats, Husqvarna, and Ariens. As part of the service team, he/she receives work orders each day from the Service Advisor and then determines the extent of repairs needed and troubleshoots the equipment that is needing repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose defects in power sport equipment, or small engine equipment including marine and lawn equipment products.

• Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop.

• Complete work orders and time cards accurately.

• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.

• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.

• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.

• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances.

• Other mechanical repair work as required.

Qualifications:

-  1-3 years experience preferred

-  Must have mechanical knowledge and experience in small engines and marine equipment.

-   Valid driver’s license

-   Computer skills is an asset (Parts Microfiche lookup and OEM software programs)

-   Communicational skills

-   Must have own tools (except specialty tools which will be provided by the company)
