Location:
DSB1 represents schools from Hearst to Temagami.
Northern Region – Hearst, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Matheson
Central Region – Timmins
Southern Region – Kirkland Lake, Englehart, New Liskeard, Elk Lake, Kerns, Temagami
Geographical preferences will be taken into consideration when finalizing placement.

Compensation:
Salary in accordance with the current collective agreementsCollective Agreements (dsb1.ca) – prorated based on FTE.
Qualified Elementary Teacher:
A0–A2 (Steps 0–11): $54,016 - $100,146
A3–A4 (Steps 0–11): $67,397 - $120,363
Qualified Secondary Teacher:
A1-A2 (Steps 0-11): $58,874 - $100,604
A3-A4 (Steps 0-11): $66,333 - $120,363
Application Information:
Applicants must be able to provide a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to employment that is satisfactory to the Board.
All offers of employment are conditional upon Human Resources approval and verification of qualifications in accordance with the Education Act and pertinent regulation.
