PARTS ADVISOR
Job Type Full Time (40 hours per week)
Salary To be determined based on experience and qualification
Education High School Diploma
Location Kapuskasing
Start Date As soon as possible
Reports to Fixed Ops Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell automotive parts, accessories, tires, and related products to retail customers.
- Support service technicians by sourcing and supplying required parts promptly.
- Open and close work orders and parts sales transactions accurately.
- Bill parts on work orders and over-the-counter sales.
- Contact customers to advise them when ordered parts have arrived.
- Assist with daily shipping and receiving of parts inventory.
- Place orders with various suppliers to maintain parts availability.
- Answer incoming calls and provide timely, accurate quotes.
- Assist customers in selecting the right accessories for their vehicles and provide quotes to the sales team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the parts department.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in the automotive industry is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, customer-focused approach.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible work schedule, including availability to work Saturdays if needed.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and manager multiple priorities.
- Strong team player who thrives for excellence in every task.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
