POSITION SUMMARY:
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide an effective Ontario Works Program, we are
seeking the ideal candidate to fill the position of Case Worker. This individual will work
under the direct supervision of the Ontario Works Manager to enhance the current services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum requirement: Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School diploma (OSSD) or
equivalent
• Preferred: Diploma in Social Work, Social Services or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license or working towards obtaining your license
• Excellent computer skills
• Some knowledge of the Ontario Works Directives and the employment support
component
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience in the office setting and basic filing system
• Knowledge of administrative duties
• Excellence written and communicative skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Will be subject to undergo a Drug/Alcohol test

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process applications and updates for Financial and Employment Assistance
programs under Ontario Works.
• Support the Caseworker in all aspects of the Ontario Works program.
• Manage assigned client cases and maintain accurate, confidential records.
• Coordinate information and training sessions for the Employment Assistance
program.
• Assist clients with Ontario Disability Support Program applications.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Collaborate with the Employment Worker and Employment Counselor to meet
program requirements.
