About the Role:
B&G Industrial Services Ltd. is hiring an experienced Industrial Millwright to join our steel manufacturing and industrial fabrication team in Thornloe, ON. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role involving installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment, machinery, and industrial systems in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on production and fabrication equipment
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Align, dismantle, and reassemble machinery and components
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
• Replace or repair worn or defective parts using hand and power tools
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
• Support fabrication and welding teams as required for repairs and installations
• Follow all health and safety procedures in an industrial shop environment
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas

Requirements:

• Licensed Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or equivalent certification/experience
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction or maintenance environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Work Environment:

• Industrial fabrication and maintenance shop setting
• Exposure to noise, heat, dust and heavy machinery
• Occasional overtime and emergency call-ins may be required
• PPE is mandatory at all times

Additional Job Information:

Compensation & Benefits:
Wage: $45,000 - $70,000 per year
Overtime: Paid in accordance with Ontario Employment Standards Act
