Hourly Rate: 18.50
Term: 1 year internship

Key duties:
Marketing events using posters, social media, newsletters and IFAC website
Renewing annual membership and recruiting new members
Planning, preparing and programming for IFAC fundrasing and awareness events
Researching funding opportunities for the organization and preparing applications
Preparing monthly board meeting packages for directors
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Strong marketing and sales skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to work some afternoon, evenings and weekends
Bilingualism is an asset

The successful candidate will be a new entrant into the workforce, transitioning to a new careers or be unemployed or underemployed and entering a new field. They will not have previously participated in an NOHFC funded internship. Once hired, the successful candidate must reside in the northern Ontario community in which they are employed.
