Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent, with Ontario College of Teachers
(OCT) certification (or relevant provincial/territorial certification).
• Familiarity with provincial curriculum and Indigenous curriculum resources (e.g.,
The Ontario FNMI Curriculum, First Nations Holistic Learning Model, etc.).
• A dynamic, student-centered educator who brings energy and creativity to the
classroom.
• A strong commitment to culturally relevant and responsive teaching practices.
• An understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of Indigenous learners.
• Willingness to participate in community events and school initiatives beyond the
classroom.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (required).
