FINANCE CLERK
Brief description
The position of the Finance Clerk is responsible for updating records, tracking information, and completing the financial transactions of Apitipi Anicinapek Nation. He/She inputs daily program-wide accounting and finance functions including timely recording of transactions, cash management, banking, payroll, inventory, receivables, and payables.
Qualifications and requirements
• Business/Accounting Degree considered an asset
• Bookkeeping, Data Entry and experience with Sage Software preferred
• Strong accounting skills and experience, including entry of general ledger, journal entries, payroll, payables, and balance sheet.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and on irregular working hours
• Police Check Vulnerable Sector

Lines of communication
• The Financial Clerk reports directly to the Senior Finance Officer (SFO)

• Additional hours may be necessary for the proper performance of the Employee’s duties.
