New Liskeard Stepping Stones Daycare Centre is hiring a Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant. New Liskeard Stepping Stones Daycare Centre is located inside of New Liskeard Public School. Job Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children in an early childhood setting.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records.

Pay Scale:
$20.61 - $22.03 - Based on experience

Job Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Valid Standard First Aid CPR Level C with AED (or willing to obtain)
- Willing to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up to date Health Form with required immunizations
