Early Childhood Assistant (Permanent Full-Time)

New Liskeard Stepping Stones Daycare Centre is hiring a Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant. New Liskeard Stepping Stones Daycare Centre is located inside of New Liskeard Public School. Job Duties:

•  Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children in an early childhood setting.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
• Provide individualized attention and support to children to meet their unique needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Valid Standard First Aid CPR Level C with AED (or willing to obtain)
• Willing to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check
• Up to date Health Form with required immunizations
