The Smooth Rock Falls Hospital is looking for a passionate and caring individual to join our team and provide food and nutrition services to patients and residents. We accomplish this through procurement, storage, preparation, and distribution of sage, high quality food choices.

Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Safe Food Handlers Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Be able to frequently bend, stand, walk and lift up to 28 kg.
• French proficiency would be an asset
• Strong customer service commitment
• Ability to work in a busy environment with minimal supervision
• Be a team player
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a health care setting in compliance with OHSA
• Criminal reference check completed within the last 6 months from a Canadian Police Information Centre, inclusive of vulnerable sector screening.
