C.J. Equipment Sales & Service is looking for a motivated Truck & Coach Technicians Apprentice to join our team!

We are looking for an apprentices who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and gain hands-on experience working with heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, and equipment. Whether you are early in your apprenticeship or further along in your training, we encourage you to apply.

Job Title: 310T Truck & Coach Technician Apprentice

Apprenticeship: 310T Truck & Coach Technician
Wage: $18.00 - 40.00 per hour Based on Apprentice Level and Experience 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed technicians with the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing under supervision.
• Assist with repairs to engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems.
• Learn to diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing equipment safely and properly.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
• Replace and repair defective parts and components as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete service documentation and maintenance records.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Continue developing technical skills through on-the-job training and apprenticeship schooling.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered or interested in pursuing a 310T Truck & Coach Technician apprenticeship.
• Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive environment is an asset but not required.
• Strong interest in heavy-duty trucks, equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
