Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our
corporate office. This position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day
operations of the corporate office. This position helps maintain accurate records, assists
with communication between departments, and ensures administrative tasks are
completed in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Clerk will assist with a wide range of administrative tasks, including:
- Assisting with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and routine correspondence.
- Maintaining organized records for administrative and operational departments.
- Assisting with internal communication between company divisions to support smooth operational flow.
- Responding to phone calls and emails and assisting with walk-in inquiries as needed.
- Preparing, sorting, and organizing forms, policy documents, and internal reports.
- Upholding confidentiality and always demonstrating professionalism.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who brings strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to supporting a busy office environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completion of a college certificate or diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience in an administrative, clerical, office assistant, or receptionist role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and basic office software.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn new tasks or
systems as needed.
Work Conditions
The position is based at the O’Briens Corporate Group head office in Kapuskasing. Hours are
from Monday to Friday during daytime business hours, with occasional flexibility depending on operational needs across our companies. The work environment is supportive, fast-paced, and team-oriented, with opportunities for growth as the organization continues expanding.
