Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant will
provide clerical and administrative services for the Executive team including reception duties.
Job Duties:
- Provide direct administrative and office management support to all members of the executive team.
- Will receive and screen all calls and greet visitors. (reception)
- Will open and log all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Will take minutes for staff and Board of Directors meetings
- Will be instrumental in the organization of materials for Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings.
- Prepare and draft documents as required
- Keep track of office supplies inventory and replenish when required
- Use good judgment and decision-making on the job.
- Receive payments and post to accounts receivables
- Maintain petty cash
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- 2 years experience in administration and clerical setting
- Must have proven organizational and time management skills
- Will posses strong written and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams
- Will be able to manage some financial duties or willing to learn
- Flexible hours will be necessary.
- Ability to speak Cree will be an asset
- Class ‘G” Driver’s License
